Addiction Recovery

I spent the first half of my life addicted to everything from alcohol and smoking, to food and drugs. I wasn’t a casual user. I was a full-blown, out-of-control addict.

My life changed when I accepted what I have become through an Intervention of loved one. Then I committed to an addiction treatment that changed my life. So much so, that I made it my life’s mission to help others help the ones they love.

You may have seen me on T.V. shows, such as Dr. Oz. or The Today Show, where I provide expert awareness and solutions for individuals, friends, and family members all dealing with addiction. My Addiction Treatment Services have a proven track record of success, and I know I can help you to.

I hope you will join me in my war against addiction, and contact us for a free consultation. You came to the right place for change to begin, but you have to take the next step. We can take the rest of the steps together.

Chances are that you’ve seen Brad Lamm in the news or on television. He is a regular on the “Dr. Oz” show as well as “Oprah.” He has done interviews for “The Today Show,” “Good Morning America,” “The Nancy Grace Show” and “The View.” He also writes regular, educational articles for “The Huffington Post.”

Yet fame is not what Brad Lamm is chasing after.

Brad Lamm grew up in a religious home as his father was a minister. He grew up in Oregon then later moved to California where he attended UCLA, later Penn State. He worked for and produced television programs. A regular on the club scene, he was nicknamed “king of late night party scene.” His life seemed perfect, but inside he was experiencing what many are experiencing: The downward spiral of addiction to alcohol and drugs. He entered into a rehab program and discovered that along with his sobriety, he could help others.

Lamm takes the no-nonsense approach to addiction. Having experienced the pain and frustration of addiction, he understands how hard it is to break the cycle. He understands and believes that drugs and alcohol are the problem, not the person. Anyone can change and better themselves. He believes that people are resilient and can constantly evolve for the better.

Lamm is an Addiction Specialist and the founder and President of Intervention Specialists. This organization works tirelessly to educate the public about addiction, striving to show that a person can change and can become sober. Lamm is also a board registered Addiction Interventionist and has written several books dealing with the topics of addiction and recovery.

Many will believe that a one-time trip to a rehab center should ‘fix’ a person. If so, why do we witness so many relapses? Lamm believes that recovery is an on-going process, even after rehab. He also believes that recovery involves loved ones and friends. These are all pieces of the puzzle that help make the person whole again. His program offers hope, love and grace. It not only helps those to become sober, but to completely change their entire life.

If you are a family member or a loved one who has someone in their lives suffering from addiction, you have come to the right place. If you are a user who has had enough and want to achieve sobriety, congratulations, for you have made the biggest step in your life.

We can and will help you begin the recovery process. There are many different programs and treatments available today, it can be confusing to find the one that is the perfect fit. Let us listen to your concerns and questions, together we can find the plan that will work. We have years of experiences and have dealt with many different treatment programs and centers. We know that each person is unique, their plan for recovery should match them.

The most common plan for treatment is a three-step process; detox, rehab and out-patient.

Many drugs, including alcohol, can be dangerous to quit alone. Detox allows the patient to be in a medically staffed environment. Here the patient will be observed around the clock for vital signs as he goes through withdrawals from drugs or alcohol. The patient may also receive medication to help ease the pain of withdrawal. The time spent here can vary from a few days to a few weeks.

Rehab centers are usually the second step for patients. Here patients deal with their new-found sobriety. Quite often, the use of drugs and alcohol is to cover up emotional or psychological problems. Patients will receive individual therapy as well as group sessions. Here patients will learn to deal with daily struggles without using drugs or alcohol. They will also learn to deny the urges to use again. It is highly advisable that loved ones and friends seek counseling as well. This will help to not only understand addiction, but help with any hurt feelings the user may have inflicted.

Out-patient is where the patient begins his new life. With the help and support of loved ones and friends, he can enjoy life sober free. Attending NA or AA meetings, counseling sessions and group sessions should be continued.

There is hope, and sobriety can be achieved. Give us a call or email us, we will walk with you every step of the way. Let us help stop the destructive cycle of addiction and show you a new life. Let us know how we can help you.

“I was fat, there is no nice way to put it, I was just simply fat. All I ever wanted to do was eat and eat and eat and take ecstasy to feel better. I had a food and drug addiction.

TAP helped me to see that my addiction was too far gone to just stop on my own so they helped me get into a rehab program fit for my problem.

I never imagined that I would go into an inpatient rehab center for a food addiction, I didn’t even know they were out there, but I did and today I have lost almost 200 lbs and I am eating right.

I beat my addictions with TAP’s help. I am living proof that anyone can get the help they need no matter what their addiction is.”FS, AMARILLO, TX
