Addiction Treatment Program

Addiction Treatment Action Plan: Making the Pieces of Addiction Treatment Programs Recovery Puzzle Fit

Addiction is something that is different for everyone. While some will be fully capable of going through just some community-based programs like AA, others may need full-on medical treatment. Every patient needs a different approach to their addiction treatment program since each patient has different reasons for using their drug of choice.

Finding the right treatment program to fit the patient can be like trying to put a puzzle together with a missing piece but with the help of Treatment Action Plan, you can find the addiction program that will fit the needs of you or your loved one. When you seek the help of TAP, we will help you to answer some of the toughest questions that patients have when it comes to their recovery.

What Will the Program Cost My Family?

The answer to your financial questions will be handled when you decide which one of our personalized addiction treatment plans will fit your needs the best. In some cases, major medical insurance will cover a good portion of the treatment program and in some cases, all of the program. In some cases, there are government programs available to help fund the programs as well. In any case, we will help you decide which program will fit your needs and your budget.

What Is The Difference Between In-Patient and Out-Patient Treatment Programs?

In-patient, or residential treatment based programs are facilities in which patients reside for a period of time with little to no access to the outside world. The basis for this type of addiction treatment program is to take the temptation away from the patient while they recover.

Out-patient programs are set aside for patients who work or have family obligations and cannot afford to be confined to a residential program. The outpatient addiction programs use counseling programs in conjunction with AA or NA programs to help the patient get through their recovery.

What Kind of Addiction Do You Help?

We help all kinds of addictions from drugs to food and everything in between. Our CEO, Brad Lamm, is a successful author and founder of Intervention Specialists. He specializes in helping people who are going through all kinds of addictions to help you get the help that you need. He also understands that what worked for one patient may not work for another, which is why he insists on an individual treatment plan for each patient.

In addition to helping those who have the typical addictions like alcohol, drugs and food, TAP also offers help to those whose addictions are more behavioral. These tend to be more dangerous than addictions that revolve around substances since the actions can physically hurt others.

The main behavioral addictions include pyromania, or the addiction to start fires; kleptomania, the addiction to steal; sexual addictions, both acting on urges and looking at pornography; and even an addiction to work. All of these addictions are just as harmful to the patient as the substance addictions, but behavioral ones tend to require a completely different approach to recovery. Here at TAP, we give you the answers to help you become the person that you want to be, free of the urges and impulses.

What Do Addiction Treatment Programs Use To Help?

There are many different techniques used by various addiction treatment programs including medicine, counseling, peer groups and continued outpatient programs. What will determine the exact program will be based on what your own personal needs are. It is unlikely that the exact treatment plan or addiction recovery program is used more than once.

These addiction programs will go through your own journey through your addiction to determine what cause you to start using in the first place. Once this has been decided, you will be given the plan that will fit your needs. For instance, if a traumatic experience is said to be what caused the initial addiction or behavior, you can expect to have individualized counseling to help you get through the trauma which will help to heal the whole body, not just the addiction.

The level of treatment will be based on the level of your addiction. Some patients will go right into outpatient counseling while others will need to be admitted to a medical facility for detoxification to get the drugs out of their system before they can go into a residential program. Others will go through an addiction program where they have a short stint in a rehab center followed up by counseling services with AA with little or no medical help.

How Do I Know It’s the Right Time?

To the person who is suffering from the addiction, it is never the perfect time to seek help. The truth is, the right time to get help is the first time the substance is abused or the first time the action or impulse is experienced.

TAP offers addiction programs for all addictions and all levels of addictions. The key is to know that you or your loved one has a problem that they need to get help for and then you can see that the time is right.

“When my brother-in-law lost his job in 2008, he started drinkng. We all thought that it was normal and that he was fine, but when he started getting drunk more and more and then became violent with my sister and their daughter, we knew there was more.

Our community offers things like AA for alcoholics but the resources for other services are very limited. I finally called TAP where I found an alcohol treatment center that was close by but we didn’t even know about.

TAP helped get him the help he needed and even helped us figure out how the treatment and addiction recovery program was going to be paid for. Thank you TAP for giving my sister her family back!”HS, RENTON, WA
